Board Policy 8660 – Transportation by Private Vehicle describes the circumstances in which students may be transported in a privately owned vehicle to and from district sponsored off-campus activities. The procedures that a school must follow regarding this type of transportation as well as the approved parent permission slips that must be in place can be found below under “Procedures and Criteria for Off-Campus Activities.” Schools that have questions that are not answered in this attachment or in the other attachments, may contact the Office of Risk Management for assistance.
